 DESCRIPTION:

The prayers on this audio cassette assist us in preparing to participate in the awesome mystery of becoming tabernacles of Christ when receiving Holy Communion, and in offering thanks afterward.  These prayers also teach us how to have the mental attitude of repentance and  prayer, and thus, how to be open to receiving the Holy Spirit and uniting ourselves to Christ - every day.

Side 1 contains the Canon of Repentance and the Canon of Preparation for Holy Communion.  On Side 2 there are the Prayers in Preparation for Holy Communion, with the primary prayers of the Thanksgiving After Communion.

This cassette is packaged in the customary way - in a clear, hard-plastic box, with a beige "J" card with an icon of the Christ on the cover, and notes on the inside flap.  (Painted/written in Russia, the icon is on the iconostasis of St. Innocent Orthodox Church in Redford [metro-Detroit], Michigan.)

As with all these audio recordings of prayers, this cassette is ideal for commuters, the sight-impaired, sick, elderly, home-bound, and for anyone who wishes to bring more prayer into his or her life.
